I don't blame him at all, and logically, I completely understand. The things that "love" is based in, shared experience, admiration, shared goals, wanting to talk, walk, play, have sex, create things, go 'do' anything. 'Love' by itself is a pretty weak contendor when everything else is miserable. If emotion is removed from the situation, he has zero reason to stay- and I don't blame him. Sure there is 'love' and emotion, but at the end of the day, he could get that anywhere, from a healthier woman with more to give and more to contribute. There is literally nothing that I do for him to make his life better. I dont provide financially, and barely do housework or chores thanks to my good friend fatigue. I will never be able to 'earn my keep' as a spouse. I have good days and bad, like everyone here, but the bad days are always worse than a 'normal' woman, and the goods will never be as good. He 'dreads' the future, he obviously didn't sign up for this, and it makes no sense that his life should be ruined because of something that happened to me. He is feeling exactly like every man that wants to/does leave a wife with MS. Last night we had a very sterile, logical discussion about divorce. My husband and I have been married 8 years.
